He is a transdisciplinary artist that focuses on the vast intersection that exists between technology and art at many different levels. His work moves through different supports and techniques from porcelain to media art; drawing, painting, photography, programming and music are his tools on the creation of new conceptual frameworks for art and design.
Olmo has a Bachelor´s Degree in Plastic Arts from the National School for Fine Arts in Mexico City: Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado (“La Esmeralda”); and has also carried out independent studies on mathematics, music and programming languages. He founded his independent studio in 2012 where he has developed many collective and individual projects such as: Bardo (collaborative painting group) and Mono Rojo (Collective Porcelain Seal).
Olmo currently works in Mexico City.
